Q. How often should I train?

A. It depends on what your goals are. If you just want to meet the healthy guideline requirements I would recommend exercising for a minimum of 3 sessions per week. This should include any aerobic and/or strength training programme (basically anything which is going to get your heart rate up and get you out of breath). Each session should be between 30-60 minutes long. However, if you seriously want to lose weight and tone up or increase muscle hypertrophy (i.e. muscle mass), then I would advise doing 4-6 sessions per week of exercising.
